About Edward Granaghan
Based in Cream Ridge, NJ, Edward Granaghan graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Pennsylvania State University before going on to complete an MBA in finance, economics, and entrepreneurial finance at New York University. An inactive CPA registered in the state of New Jersey, Edward Granaghan began his career as an auditor for the Big 4 accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche. Serving both domestic and international clients, he provided auditing, accounting, and other financial consulting services in this position.
In 1998, Mr. Granaghan left Deloitte & Touche to join Lazard Asset Management as global controller, a role in which he oversaw global financial reporting for a company with more than $70 billion in assets under management. Since that time, the New Jersey resident has gained additional financial leadership experience as the chief financial officer of FiberNet Telecom Group, senior vice president of AIG Inc., and controller of Tower Group International.
Mr. Granaghan draws upon this experience in his current position as the chief accounting officer for a private company, a global leader in the co-working space field. Since joining in 2014, he has led projects such as overseeing all financial systems in preparation for the company’s initial public offering.
